True Fix Garage Doors – Warranty Policy

At True Fix Garage Doors, we stand behind the quality of our products, installations, and repair services. Our warranty reflects our commitment to professional workmanship and proper product care.

Warranty coverage is valid only when the garage door system is properly maintained and used under normal operating conditions.

New Garage Doors – Limited Residential Warranty

This warranty applies to new doors supplied and installed by True Fix Garage Doors at residential properties.

Eligibility

  • Valid for the original purchaser only
  • Applies only to the original installation address
  • Non-transferable
  • Annual professional maintenance is required to keep the warranty active

Coverage

Door Sections & Structure

Covers manufacturing defects in steel panels and structural components under normal residential use.

Factory Paint Finish – Up to 10 Years

Covers rust-through caused by factory paint failure (such as peeling, cracking, or splitting).

Not covered:

  • Scratches, dents, surface rust, or cosmetic damage
  • Damage from impact or external causes
  • Repainting or coatings applied after installation

Hardware & Springs – 3 Years

Covers defects in operational components including:

  • Springs
  • Hinges
  • Rollers
  • Tracks
  • Standard operating hardware

Mandatory Maintenance Requirement

  • Professional service once per year
  • Service must include inspection, lubrication, balance testing, and safety check
  • Proof of service may be requested
  • Failure to complete required maintenance may void warranty coverage

Warranty Does Not Cover

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper installation by others
  • Lack of maintenance
  • Customer-performed repairs or unauthorized modifications
  • Misuse or abnormal operation
  • Pressure washing or harsh cleaning chemicals
  • Corrosive environments
  • Extreme weather, natural disasters, vandalism, or accidental damage

Limitations

Warranty covers materials only. Labor, service visits, removal, reinstallation, and transportation costs are not included unless otherwise stated in writing.

Repair Services Warranty

For repair work performed by True Fix Garage Doors:

  • 1 Year warranty on any part or product supplied by us
  • 6 Months warranty on labor and workmanship

Warranty on repairs is valid only if:

  • The system has not been tampered with or repaired by others
  • The issue is related to the part replaced or service performed
  • The door has been properly maintained

Warranty does not cover new issues unrelated to the original repair, misuse, or external damage.
